Greek Classics Titles
Brave warriors, noble heroes, women of divine beauty and envious gods moved by human passions come alive in these retellings of the most famous of Greek myths. The Iliad tells what happens in the ninth year of the siege of Troy, when the Greeks employ an ingenious stratagem that may well determine the outcome of the war, while The Odyssey is the story of the hero Odysseus’s eventful voyage home and how he deals with those who are working to usurp his kingdom and turn his wife away from him.
Brilliantly retold by Beatrice Sampatakou and illustrated by Thanos Tsilis, these two titles are the first joint productions with Real Reads’ Greek partner publisher Savvalas. Future plans include actable versions of some of the most famous Greek plays by Euripides, Sophocles and Aeschylus – watch this space!
